Millennium Kneelers

From 2nd January 2000, the Millennium Kneelers can be seen in the parish church.
Each of the 31, eventually to be 44 kneelers, has a different design and were made by 28 ladies working for a period of two years.
The most significant are the six which depict the Christian Millennium. This design was created by Marion Gilliland, who fulfilled a country-wide need: nearly 400 stich charts have been sent to other church groups, enabling them to work their own version of her original idea.
